Hi,
I was wondering what websites, cd's or whatever you use to learn a language. I would use tapes, but I don't have a tape player. I'm nut sure if this topic has already been created, butg anyway. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Leslie

depends on what sort of language you want to learn, and to what level. there's free resources available on the web for some simpe day-to-day conversation, and of course they will be cds available for series of level too. from beginner to advance etc etc.
what language you want to learn in specific?

I know you can also get books like where the English is written alongside the language you have chosen, but i can't remember what you call those. If you are a Braille user, it does help to know some of that language Braille code if you want to learn from books. I do know the French braille code inside out, but can't remember much of the German unfortunately, but will know it when I see it.

By the way, does anyone know any other websites other than the BBC website for language learning resources? I used to use the bbc website a lot when I was at school, but haven't found many others.

I agree with post 3. It depends on what language you want to learn. I for example use CD's to learn Spanish from beginner's level. It is quite helpful. But I think going abroad foa a long time can also be helpful if you want to learn a language.
